Exquisite Spencerian bird cards from Missive Press

I love anything with birds and I love anything with Spencerian calligraphy so how excited was I to find these beauties from the lovely Missive press! There is something so sophisticated about Spencerian….oh there I go on a tangent again.

Missive Press has some really wonderful and elegant yet modern designs, check out their store on etsy.

My personal favorite is the scalloped oval card with the mini envelope containing a sweet “I love you” message inside…this card is pure stylish genius! This would of course make the perfect Valentines day card, but also a sweet I love you card for someone special just because.

In this day and age who does not know a same sex couple that are getting married? I happened upon these lovely and very tasteful cards that depict Victorian men and women on bicycles from Pearl & Marmalade.

They also make a plethora of other fabulous cards that are taseful and perfect for many occasions.

Something fabulous from Oddball press

It’s no secret I love odd and unusual things so when I came across this family tree from Oddball press on etsy I was truly impressed (they also have a great website with more wonderful paper goods).

The quality of the image and the printing are very impressive and makes it a family heirloom. I am going to have mine filled in by a local calligrapher and give it to my sister whom is expecting her first child…what a great and original gift!

The fact that it is only $10.00 makes it also the deal of the century…

Not only do they have this great piece of art but they also make great greeting cards with a sense of humor as well.
